• 15 January* - "Using fertiliser to the plant's best advantage" - Malcolm Moodie

• 12 February - "The exciting world of Orchids — Adventure and Discovery in Columbia" - Tom Hart Dyke of Lullington Castle in Kent, home to the 'World of Garden Plants'

• 5 March - WOS Annual Spring Show - at Portchester Community School - see separate advertisements nearer the time

• 19 March - RHS Orchid Show Westminster, London - Possible Coach Trip if there is sufficient demand

• 9 April* - "The charm of Coelogynes" - Colin Carter from Bournemouth Orchid Society

• 14 May - "The secret world of the Masdevallia" - Mike Buckingham of the Orchid Society of Great Britain

• 11 June* - Annual General Meeting - A very important event in the Society's year. A chance to find out how the Society is progressing. After the formal business there will be an ORCHID MARKET

• June - We hope to arrange a field trip to see Native Wild Orchids in Hampshire

• 9 July* - "Orchids in the house / on the windowsill" - from our own group of resident experts

• 13 August - Summer Social Outing - Venue to be confirmed

• 10 September* - "Growing terrestrial orchids in your garden" - Jeff Hutchings of Laneside Hardy Orchid Nursery

• 8 October - WOS Autumn Show - at Portchester Community School - See separate advertisements nearer the time

• 12 November* - "Exploring the diversity of Dendrobiums, and understanding their culture" - Janet Plested of Plested Orchids

• 11 December - Christmas Lunch - Our now traditional Christmas Lunch, with entertainment contributions from members

• 23-27 April - Five day tour to Jersey (Subject to sufficient numbers). Including a visit to the Eric Young Orchid Foundation

• 12 May - "Growing orchids in small greenhouses" - John Spires, former Chairman BOC

• 10 November* - "Growing Paphiopedilums & Phragmipediums" - Allan Burdis, based on his recent talk at the RHS Orchid Show
